HHNA Spring 2026 Meeting
All Hall High neighbors are invited to attend our next Hall High Neighborhood Association meeting on Thursday, April 23 at 6:00 PM.
Our meetings, held three times a year, are a great chance to connect with one another, celebrate what’s going well in the neighborhood, and actively support HHNA’s mission to strengthen community, keep our neighborhood beautiful and safe, build strong partnerships, and share helpful updates on neighborhood issues with residents.
We’re pleased to welcome Janet Lanza, Emeritus Professor of Biology at UALR and Outreach Coordinator for Arkansas Wild Spaces and the Central Arkansas Master Naturalists, as our guest speaker.
With spring underway, HHNA leadership is continuing to formalize plans for 2026, including a spring neighborhood event, improvements to Meriwether Park, continued landscape maintenance along Mississippi and other public areas, and more. If you have not already done so, please consider making a donation to the Hall High Neighborhood Association to help support these efforts.
Officer Elections & Open Board Seat
A key focus for 2026 is building a strong succession plan for HHNA leadership. We will hold officer elections at the April 23 meeting. Current dues-paying members are eligible to serve as officers, and officers are elected at the spring general membership meeting. Annual dues are $25 per household, with $100 Sponsor and $200 Booster levels also available.
A new candidate has been identified for Vice President, and the current President, Secretary, and Treasurer are willing to continue serving. If you are interested in serving as an officer, please reach out in advance. To be considered, a candidate must be nominated, accept the nomination, and be current on HHNA dues.
We will also have an open position on the HHNA Board and encourage interested neighbors to get in touch if you would like to be part of neighborhood leadership.

Saturday Morning Spruce-Up at Meriwether Park!
Join the Hall High Neighborhood Association Beautification Team for a quick Saturday spruce-up at Meriwether Park!
We have 10 large bags of pine straw and we need a few helping hands to spread it in the flower beds at the main park entrance. Using pine straw is more cost-effective than hardwood mulch, which helps us stretch our neighborhood funds while still keeping the park looking great.
📅 When: Saturday, December 6
⏰ Time: 9:30 a.m.
📍 Where: Main entrance to Meriwether Park
The weather is expected to be clear and warmer, so it should be a nice morning to be outside and do something good for our neighborhood.
Have extra pine straw? If you’ve already raked or bagged pine straw at home, we’re still accepting pine straw donations. Please bring it Saturday morning!
No special skills required—just bring yourself, and if you have them, gloves or a rake. Families and kids are welcome to join.
Thanks for supporting Meriwether Park and helping keep our neighborhood looking its best!
